The glaze is taken to the edge of melting and held for hours, until crystals seed and grow across the surface. The ones that succeed can never be repeated.
How a piece is made
Nothing here is finished
The glaze softens where a thumb rests and the foot wears to the shelf it stands on. A piece leaves the studio complete, and then keeps changing for as long as somebody uses it.
